"But we've already looked into it," Suzy interrupted. "Evangeline has good relationships with all her close friends
and family. Especially her half-sisters, they get along well. The only one she ever had issues with was Helena, but
Helena is dead.
"There were even rumors that Evangeline was the one who killed Helena. But after digging deeper, | found no
evidence linking her to Helena's death. It had nothing to do with her."
Suzy suddenly thought of a possibility. "What if Helena isn't actually dead? Like Charlotte and Claude before,
what if it's all a facade?"

"How did you get this?" Suzy asked, surprised. "I haven't been gone that long-just an hour or two. How did you
manage to do something | couldn't?"
Dylan smirked, a flicker of amusement in his eyes. "As you suggested-just take it straight
from the source."
"You're kidding."
"lI am," he replied, laughing softly. "Evangeline holds a high-ranking position. The hospital keeps a supply of her
blood on file for emergencies. It wasn't that hard to access."
"How did I not think of that?" Suzy muttered, feeling a bit exasperated with herself. "If I' just gone straight to the
hospital, | might've already had the results by now."
Dylan raised an eyebrow. "So, what's your plan now? Are you staying here, or do you have something else in
mind?"

Suzy looked at Dylan and said firmly, "Of course, I'm staying here. That lunatic is still waiting for my response. If |
leave now, she'll never let it slide. Speaking of which, when you leave, make sure to act like you're really upset-

Dylan gave her a knowing look. "She probably won't believe it anyway. You caused such a scene earlier. It's

Suzy then added, "Oh, and have someone bringa few medical ingredients." Dylan's expression shifted to
concern. "Are you feeling alright?”
