Chapter 0593
Chapter 593
Suzy was hypnotizing George.
As her words trailed off, George's mind seemed to waver, and he muttered, "Hidden in..."
Just as he was about to reveal the answer, his body suddenly began to convulse, as if struck by a sudden
ailment.
Suzy quickly moved to check his pulse.
"His pulse is completely normal," she said, frowning. But the convulsions didn't stop. They only grew more
violent.
Tanya, watching from the side, furrowed her brows tightly. "Could he have been poisoned, like | was?"
Suzy's expression turned more serious. "But his pulse shows no signs of poisoning! If it were any kind of toxin, it
would definitely reflect in his vitals."
"But then what's causing this?" Tanya asked, incredulous. "If it's not poison, could it be skind of pre-existing
condition?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"l already said, his pulse is completely normal!" Suzy replied, her own disbelief matching Tanya's. She was
equally baffled and eager to find out what was causing George's alarming symptoms.
After administering a series of precise medical interventions, the convulsions subsided. However, George fell into
a deep, death-like coma.
No matter what method Suzy used, she couldn't wake him. He was breathing, yet entirely unresponsive, like a
living shell-a state disturbingly akin to being a vegetable.
"If I still don't understand what's happening now, then I'd truly be an idiot. There's something inside him!"
"Something inside?" Tanya's disbelief was evident. She'd never imagined such a phenomenon could exist.
Suzy's eyes narrowed. "We'll know for sure once we check."
"What are you planning to do?"
"Relax, a CT scan will reveal it."
Tanya fell silent.
She thought Suzy was planning to cut George open.
But the CT scan results were baffling. George's body appeared entirely normal. They even performed a brain
scan, but the results were the same. There was no sign of anything abnormal.

The situation grew even stranger, leaving Suzy deep in thought.

Through Desmond's investigation, Dylan learned bits and pieces about Suzy's current predicament. He wanted to
help, but the words Suzy had said to him lingered in his mind-she didn't want to see him. She'd likely shut the
door in his face.
Left with no choice, he decided to assist her in ways that didn't require direct contact.
Since the issue seemed to revolve around George, Dylan decided to start there. He summoned Desmond.
"Investigate everyone connected to George Mason."
A capable assistant always anticipated their boss needs, getting tasks done even before being asked. Desmond
was exactly that. Before Dylan's words had fully landed, Desmond handed him a stack of documents.
"These are profiles of everyone connected to George Mason. Over the years, he's lived like a rat. After his father
died during the upheaval at the Frost family, his mother took him into hiding. They changed their names and
identities and kept a very low profile, terrified of being discovered.
"As for how he got tangled up with Charlotte, | couldn't find anything concrete. However, my guess is that
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmCharlotte sought him out. She needed manpower, and George always had feelings for her back when he was
around the Frost family."
Dylan flipped through the documents.
As Desmond had said, George and his mother had lived an extremely reclusive life, avoiding contact with most
people. But something about George's recent behavior didn't sit right. It was almost as if he'd known something
like this would happen and had prepared for it in advance.
After pondering for a moment, Dylan spoke, "Ask Allen if self-hypnosis is possible."
