A few moments later, the two of them regained their composure.
Andy’s eyes travelled to the apple on the table.
An idea suddenly crossed his mind as he coughed and touched his nose.
“Miss Bennet, you should be starving.
It’s almost tfor dinner.
How about we go out and find a nice place to have dinner?”
“Today has been extremely exhausting for me.
Let’s eat at home.”
“Well… There was a look of embarrassment on Andy’s face.
“Is something the matter?” Rachel asked, confused.

“That’s fine.
Let’s just have whatever’s left in here,” Rachel suggested as her feet took her into the kitchen.
She was not the best cook but she did know how to prepare a number of simple dishes.
“Don’t you want to go out instead? We can…”
Before Andy could say any more, Rachel had already opened the door of the fridge.
Silence filled the air as the two of them blankly stared at the contents of the fridge.
Rachel slammed the door of the fridge.
“Let’s order food delivery,” she suggested as she turned to look at Andy.
“Good idea.” Andy nodded his head in agreement.
Not even the best chef in the world could make something out of what was in the fridge.
There was practically nothing in there.
At the hotel, Rachel had a hard tsleeping.
She thought that it might be a great idea to move back into
this house.
While Andy was busy ordering food, Rachel took the liberty of going upstairs to check on her old room.
As she opened the door, she was expecting to see a room blanketed in dust.
She also anticipated a lot of changes in her room.
“Miss Bennet, I have your room cleaned regularly.

He thought that Rachel could use a hand with her things.
The sight of her standing right in front of her old room welcomed him.
Before she could say anything, he had already explained how he took care of her room.
With her hand wrapped around the doorknob, Rachel said, “Andy… How have you been these past four years?”
“I’ve been well, I guess.”
Rachel gazed at Andy.
Sof his hair had turned gray.
It was not until then that she realized that he was now a middle-aged man.
Four years was neither long nor short.
Despite that, sof Andy’s features had visibly changed.
He looked older and more composed.
Not a word escaped Rachel’s lips.
Her eyes wandered to the floor.
