Randy frowned. “Hiding? How? Every listed company needs a business license and detailed records. All their
information should be online.”
Debra explained, “When Marion mentioned hiding, he meant their identity was concealed. The company
wouldn't be called ‘K Group’ out in the open. It’s probably a conglomerate that operates legitimate businesses
on the surface but engages in illegal activities behind the scenes. The Lowe Group is simply one of their profit
channels.”
Erica mused, “So, it could be any large enterprise?”
“Not us, obviously,” Randy said. “We're all decision-makers in our companies, so we'd notice if something was
off, wouldn't we?”
Erica thought aloud, “But apart from us, who else in Seamar City is running such a big operation? The Nichols
family, maybe?”
“I don’t think so.” Randy shook his head. “Juan is too young to handle something this complex.”
Marion chimed in, “It’s not him. Drake toldthat Khad dealings with the late head of the Lowe family.”
“Who else could it be?” Randy muttered,
Debra said, “What if it’s not someone from Seamar City? The Eaton family, maybe.”
The room fell silent for a moment before Randy clapped his hands together. “The Eaton family... It could be
them.”
Looking around the group, he added, “They are rich and influential and have ties with Drake. The Eaton family
checks all the boxes,”
