Chapter 384
Chapter 384:
“A presidential suite? I've never had the chance to stay in one before. Mr. Watson, you're incredibly generous!”
Sylvie gasped, her eyes lighting up. Charlotte coughed lightly, giving Sylvie a playful tap on the head. “You're
acting like you've never seen anything fancy. But really, Henrik, thank you.”
“No need to thank me. Khloe’s friends are my friends too,” Henrik said, his tone warm and genuine.
Once Charlotte and Sylvie left, Henrik took Khloe’s hand. “There's something | want to show you.”
Khloe was slightly taken aback that Henrik had planned more for the evening. Yet, she could feel his
thoughtfulness in every gesture. Without questioning, she quietly followed him to the car.
Upstairs in the building, Whitney stood by the window, her face shadowed by a frown as she watched Henrik’s

item?”
Shortly after, Henrik’s car pulled up in front of a grand mansion. Khloe had never been here before.
“Con in,” Henrik said as he guided her inside. The quiet surroundings led them along a scenic, tree-lined
path, opening up to reveal a sprawling hot spring pool.
The sharp scent of sulfur lingered in the air, making Khloe’s eyes widen in surprise as she took in the scene. To
her amazement, it was a natural hot spring nestled right in the heart of the bustling downtown area.
As Khloe took a closer look, she noticed the peaceful surroundings. The water was crystal clear, with rose petals
scattered across the surface. The pool was surrounded by dense, verdant trees, and the absence of tall buildings
nearby provided a sense of complete privacy. The mansion itself seemed almost otherworldly, like a setting from
a fairy tale.
Despite her usual composure, Khloe couldn't help but marvel at Henrik’s affluence. A natural hot spring in the
middle of the city, with no skyscrapers nearby, was nothing short of extraordinary. The sheer value of the land
for the hot spring must have been astronomical, yet Henrik had chosen to build nothing more than a mansion to
enclose it.
Khloe glanced at him with a playful grin. “You're unbelievably generous. Can | curry favor with you?”

“Of course. You're welcto demand whatever you like,” Henrik’s tone was sincere, his eyes intent. His earnest
gaze made Khloe blush and look away.
“I haven't thought of anything yet. This hot spring looks amazing, though. It must be so relaxing.” She avoided
his gaze, her eyes flitting anywhere but to him.
A fleeting shadow passed through Henrik’s eyes. Keeping his tone steady, he gestured toward a nearby room.
“It's peaceful here, and we won't be disturbed. Take your tand relax. The changing room is just over there—
feel free to get comfortable.”

With a small nod, she stepped into the changing room. Inside, she found an assortment of swimsuits and robes
in elegant designs.
Khloe glanced over the sizes and realized they all fit her perfectly, a discovery that brought an odd sense of
relief. Then, almost immediately, a flicker of annoyance and shyness crept in.
Why had she even been concerned about finding clothes in someone else’s size? She and Henrik hadn’t known
each other long, and even if he had close female friends, it wasn’t her place to feel this way.
Khloe took a deep breath, steadying her thoughts, and slipped into a loose silk nightgown before covering herself
with a bathrobe.
When she stepped out of the changing room, she was surprised to find Henrik nowhere in sight.
Curiosity nudged her forward, and she made her way to the hot spring. The warmth of the water wrapped around
her, melting away the stress of the day. A contented sigh escaped her lips. “This feels amazing.”
