Chapter 133
[Eden’s Pov]
| had been holding back for too long, scared that he may have someone else or that | may be wrong for thinking
that we
were mates in this life.
But damn it all, today there was no going back. The ache | felt in my heart, in my soul for him not being around
was too much to bear.
I'd tried to push the thought of him away from my head- to leave him for baby sister's doppelganger, but the
second he was close to me, | knew | wanted his hands all over me, wanted his lips to kiss me, to worship me.
Today was going to be the day my wolf would be re-awoken. | felt it in my bones.
And honestly, there was nobody | wanted to be around but Eros. More so, he was the one training me, pushing
| wanted those eyes to never leave mine as he caressed me, as he calledEden, the nsounding sweet as
a forgotten, timeless melody to my ears.
So | shamelessly laid out my feelings in front of him. It was a risky affair since he could always break my heart
and telling him | fantasized about him was giving him power over me, but he had had that power for too long.
Denying that was doingno good. As for the warning of Beauty... | could only hope for good.
For now, | just want to stay trapped in his arms as his lips keeps kissinghungrily. | arched back, giving him
more access as his lips opened mine.
My tongue lost the battle against him quite easily and submitted, just like the rest of my body. | felt as if | was
floating, as if | was flying as Eros’ hands brushed my skin, each touch igniting a spark within me.

He had barely begun, and the abrupt way he pulled back again madegrumble at the loss of contact. Heat
was pooling in between my thighs, heat that only he could satiate. Was it my wolf who was feeling the need to
be with him, drivinginsane, or was it my selfish feelings?
I couldn't care less.
Eros looked into my eyes, those blue eyes shining brighter, “I think we should go down and see if you awaken
your wolf first. | don’t want to start something... just to be stopped midway” he muttered, breathing hard. His
eyes darkened foldexactly what he had meant. And somehow, | looked forward to it.
In fact, | saw myself leaning into his embrace, wanting to offer myself up to him “We have to go out?” | asked,
sounding stupid.
Eros pushed a lock of my hair behind my ear and muttered, “Ye Being under the moonlight helps. So let us give
your wolf a full chance of showing up” Then he held out a hand forand | slipped it in his effortlessly. There

Now | was beginning to feel pervous all over again. What if | did not feel anything? What if my wolf never showed
up again?
| would not have the confidence to even look into his eyes after all the effort he had put into me.
However, Eros pulledclose, and his touch was reassuring as he ledoutside. The warmth in his hands was
comforting and slowly we made it outside the front yard.
Except for a few servants, there was nobody around. All the alphas and other members had left, yet | was wary
of making a fool of myself in front of the servants.
Awakening a wolf was a big thing to me, and I did not want them to watch as | transformed, it would make me
nervous.
Eros looked at the sky that had a few clouds behind which the moon was hiding “Guess, you will have to wait for

He said and | bit my lip nervously while looking around at the huge garden. “Eden, relax. You will surely awaken
your wolf this time. And even if you don’t, there is always next month.”
However, | shook my head “I thought maybe | could go somewhere where don’t have an audience,” | said,
casting glances at the servants who were busy with chores.
Eros gaze followed mine, and he chuckled, “Oh, don’t mind them. They are so used to seeing us run around like
wolves that they don’t even bother anymore.”
But | was not convinced. He tilted his head and asked, “Or do you want to be alone? Like completely alone?”
No, | want you” | spoke so fast that the grin on his face was back again.
“Keep saying that and | will forget about your awakening. He said, and | saw the way his eyes darkened.
“I. 1 meant | wanted you to be beside me. | don’t want to be alone. Just not here” | clarified, and Eros seemed to
be enjoying my situation. He chuckled and scratched his chin as if he was in sdeep thought.

“Do you want to go outside, then? But then, | don’t want rogues to attack us, so we have to be in a safe
perimeter.” | nodded. my head.
“Hmm, alright. Then we can go to the small trail that leads to the pack house. It is not very far and has a good
clearing in between where moonlight would fall on the ground directly” He said, but I did not immediately agree
to it. | had been thinking about the place | wanted to be at when my wolf re-emerges.
Last time, | had simply half-rolled in the mud and grass while my wolf tried to communicate withand show
herself out of my body. | didn’t want that.
Images of a night began flashing through my mind. A night | had spent with Eros. The moonlight had shone
perfectly on the huge lake and there was ample open ground around it. The night beside the lake where he had
punished me, and devoured me.
Somehow, | felt the lake and the premises would be a good option to awaken my wolf and have no audience
except Eros, In was also not too far from the mansion, but it was fairly secluded and nobody visited that place.
He was waiting for an answer, so | slowly looked up and asked, “Can we go to that clearing beside the lake?”
And the reaction on his face was priceless. | saw the smirk disappear from his face and his gaze darkened with
desire “Are
-you sure?”
He asked, and | nodded, “Yes”

He hopped into the car and turned the ignition on while | stared nervously at the open door. | hoped | would not
disappoint myself tonight as | slowly stepped into the car and he began driving it to our destination.
