"That's not it. I'm shocked that a person of his social status would have that attitude toward Jeremy's niece!" Annie finally understood what he meant. She laughed at herself and shrugged it off. "The whole world knows I'm Jeremy's niece. | used to enjoy ssort of protection because of him, but this is how everything works since he's missing. My family isn't that close to his family anyway, so it is what it is." Aaron narrowed his eyes. "Is your family going through a tough tas well?"
