"Hah! Surrender? I'm afraid you're not nearly capable enough to do that," Circe spat coldly.

The head elder's face flashed an ugly shade of red at the words. "Alright. I'll just have to see how powerful you are, then." As the words rang through the air, the head elder turned around. He drew his long sword and charged in Circe's direction. Whew! The blow the head elder cast used ten percent of his skills, tearing through the air and constricting the atmosphere.

Circe's expression remained stony at the sight of the head elder. She summoned her internal energy, brandishing her long sword to meet him. Clang clang clang! The air rang with the clashing of weapons. Several rounds later, the head elder felt as if something was off. How had Circe grown so powerful within just a few years? The head elder had dueled against Circe five years ago, and she had barely lasted five rounds before losing. Since five years had passed, the head elder was astonished that he could not hold her down.

Clang! Both swords collided once again. Circe took advantage of the head elder stumbling backward, casting a blow in one swift move. The blow moved far too quickly, and the head elder did not duck in time. He could only channel his own blow to meet it. Both blows collided, letting out a low hum. The head elder's face paled as he stumbled backward a good amount of steps before holding himself upright.

The head elder caught his balance, holding back the blood rushing in his body as he glowered at Circe.

"Very well... You sure are one of the Lange elites. I can't believe you've improved so much in just a few years. If you think you'll be able to do as you please on your own, you're wrong.

As he spoke, the head elder cried out to the others, "Get into the Big Dipper Formation!" The surrounding elders drew their long swords as they soared forwards to surround Circe.

'The Big Dipper Formation of the Wudang Sect?" Circe was startled as her exquisite features grew heavy.

All that could be seen was the elders standing in a formation that resembled the Big Dipper. It looked simple, but it held a hundred and thirty-six changes and was an extremely treasured formation. Circe's chest lurched, but she did not back down. Instead, she bit her lip and gripped her long sword, launching into a fierce battle against the elders to break the formation.

However, the Big Dipper Formation was far too powerful, and all of Circe's attempts failed.

On top of that, the pressure of the formation made Circe move gradually slower. Her face paled as well, and it was evident that she would not last much longer.

Truthfully, Circe was incredibly powerful. If she were to take on the elders one on one, none of them would be any match for her. However, they had formed the Big Dipper Formation, which drastically turned things around.

The head elder quickly found a chance to strike and cast a blow square onto her back.

Circe could not dodge in tand let out a dull hum as the blow landed on her back. She fell from mid-air, her long sword slipping from her grasp.

Circe knitted her brows as she landed and felt a searing pain spread through her body.

'Crap. It was the Pure Yang skills.' Just then, Circe's expression shifted as she grew anxious.

She could clearly sense that the blow that the head elder had cast held a good amount of Pure Yang om energy-full of heat and acute strength. Circe's cultivation method was more on the soft, colder side.

Both energies collided, making her system go haywire. Just as Circe was panicking to herself, the elders landed around her slowly.

The head elder spoke coldly, his voice laced with arrogance. "Circe, give it up. You've been struck by my Pure Yang energy. It's not going to go away anytsoon. Surrender now while you still can." As the words rang through the air, the head elder strode toward her slowly. Whew...

In the face of the situation, Circe bit her lip as her chest thudded in reluctance.

Was she just going to be captured like that?

She had yet to avenge her brother or find Veron. She would be as good as would be.

dead if she ended up at the Wudang Sect's mercy.
