Current use
GoodNovels.org does not intentionally set advertising or cross site tracking cookies. Its page, Book Sample, reading milestone, edition, reader relationship, resource, support, and sharing events do not use an advertising cookie or account identifier. The public site does not require an account.
Device storage
The edition selector stores your country, language, and locale choice in local storage under goodnovels.preferences.v2. The Reading Room stores your chosen light setting and text size in local storage under goodnovels.reader.display. It stores completed progress milestone names in locale and approved campaign specific session storage under goodnovels.sample.events.v3 so the same milestone is not sent more than once for that campaign during the browser session. Approved referral continuity uses session storage under goodnovels.analytics.attribution.v2 and is limited to accepted campaign, source, medium, content, and asset codes. These values do not contain your name, email address, message, account, full page address, query string, raw referrer, or a generated user identifier. Session values disappear when the browser session ends. You can remove all of these device values by clearing site data in your browser.
Cloudflare, the site's security and content delivery provider, may set the strictly necessary __cf_bm bot management cookie. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and is not used by GoodNovels.org for advertising.
External sites
Amazon, Cash App, your mail application, and a destination selected through your device's native sharing feature may apply their own terms and notices after you choose to leave GoodNovels.org.
Changes
If optional cookies are introduced later, this notice and the consent experience will be updated before they are enabled.
Private reading and checkout
My Books uses an essential secure session cookie for purchased reading access. Checkout uses a separate short lived proof so a successful buyer can return to the correct order. Basket and interface language choices stay on the device. A purchase or access link does not subscribe you to First Look, and newsletter consent remains separate. Payment, when available, requires your explicit action in Stripe Checkout.
